Your first visit to our office establishes a vital foundation for our relationship with you. Plan to arrive 15 minutes early so that we may obtain important background information, like your medical history, and give you time to get to know your doctor. Please bring along a list of any medications you are currently taking so that we can record those drugs and dosages. We'll need information about your insurance coverage also. Should that information change in between visits let us know so that we can update your records.
To understand what to expect for your first visit to our practice, please read through this page. You'll find all the practical information you need, such as a map and directions to our office, payment policies and more. There's also information about our first visit procedures.

Life is unpredictable and we understand that. We ask that you make a changes to your scheduled appointment 24 hours in advance. It is unfair to other patients and our staff when patients do not present for their scheduled appointments. We reserve the right to charge a $50 "broken appointment fee" when this happens. We appreciate your understanding and compliance with this policy.
What to expect
Being well prepared for your appointment will insure that the doctor has all of the needed information to provide the best possible care for you. It will also relieve any unnecessary anxiety you may be feeling. At your first visit we'll do an extensive examination of your feet and ankles, paying particular attention to your specific foot ailment. Any initial treatment that is needed will also be provided during that visit.
Educate yourself on your symptoms by reviewing the content of this website. We encourage you to write down any questions you may have (so you don't forget to ask them!). Also, take some time to review our staff page and familiarize yourself with the doctor and his staff. We look forward to your first visit!
Payments and Insurance
We participate in Medicare, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Blue Chip, United HealthCare, Aetna, CIGNA and most other private insurances. If you have insurance coverage, be sure to bring your insurance cards and one form of photo identification. You are responsible for copayments at the time of your visit. Any deductibles that are not covered are also your responsibility and we will notify you of these after we have submitted your claim to the insurer. Our staff does an exceptional job in helping you to understand these costs so that there are "no surprises" later.
Payment of applicable balances and copayments is required at each office visit. We accept cash, checks, and many credit cards (MasterCard, VISA). If you are unable to pay at the office, you may arrange with the receptionist to pay by a certain date.
